Wozniacki wins

Caroline Wozniacki
Reborn Viking warrior Caroline Wozniacki struck another blow for the new guard as she wiped Sveta from Eastbourne. The Danish teenager has an unusual game: she neither bashes the ball mindlessly like a baseliner – although she can hit it hard – nor does she outthink her opponent – although she appears to possess a decent tennis brain. She just competes for everything and occasionally blasts away. And she is a junior Wimbledon champ so it works at least a little.

She’s also a bit of a headcase, bring defaulted from the junior US Open for swearing in English. Why does a Dane swear in English? Is Danish so inexpressive a language? Not many Danish speaking umpires though...
