Despondent Davydenko

Lleyton Hewitt
Federer won, Cibulkova won, Hewitt won, Kiefer won and Serena slept through the Opening Ceremony.

Nikolay Davydenko admitted he is struggling for motivation after dispatching another victim. The inspiration to millions has concentration lapses and hasn’t been practising well. “I wanted to play at the Olympics,” he said, “but I’m not expecting a good result.” That’s it Davy, mess with their head. Is there a betting shop in Beijing?

Serena was too sleepy to go to the Opening Ceremony and she’s too big a star to stay in the Olympic Village (unlike Rafael Nadal). “I don't want people around me and all that other stuff,” she said. That’s the Olympic spirit. Fed’s also too big to stay in the Village.
