Anastasia Rodionova

Anastasia Rodionova
Good article on Gimelstob – assuming anyone’s still interested.

According to Jon Wertheim of SI “during the Nicolas Almagro-Gilles Muller match, Almagro hit a defensive lob a mile into the sky. So high, that - again, mid point! - he ran to the baseline and toweled off, before coming back on court and losing the point.” Nice.

Wertheim also thinks there are only three countries making up the women’s top ten - Russia (5), Serbia (2) and US (2). Poor Polish Radwanska gets forgotten.

Players now being tested for Human Growth Hormone. I wonder who’s using?

Rodionova won, Gasquet won, Latisha Chan won, Almagro won, Pennetta won, Gulbis lost and Blake was replaced by Querrey for the Davis Cup final.

Cibulkova and Monfils have broken up according to a Slovak tabloid who published pics of Monfils with another girl – anyone read Slovak?
