Andy Roddick under the radar?

Andy Roddick shirtlessHewitt lost to Nalbandian, Dementieva thrashed Serena and will meet Safina in Sydney. In Hobart Benesova thumped Rybarikova to set up a meeting with her stable mate Kvitova in the final. Benesova and Kvitova share a coach so it will be fun if they both want to consult during the match. Kvitova did so twice in the Semi.

In Open qualifying Malisse won, Siranni lost, Hrbaty won, Rus lost and Luczak won. Federer will meet Wawrinka in the Kooyong exo final. Its's a Swiss showdown. Sam Querrey plays Juan Martin Del Potro in Auckland.

With all the attention on Brit Murray, Jet Boy Nadal, the Djoker and even Ana’s guy Verdasco while Fed takes aim at everything from Women’s tennis to Murray’s credentials, is Andy Roddick coming in under the radar? Roddick is a classic underachiever and looks to be a one-slam wonder who peaked years ago and has now been overtaken by a stream of younger players who have more-dimensional games. But Andy’s one strength his serve is big enough to ride him to any championship and he can never be underestimated and his draw looks soft. Is this Andy’s time to shine?

Aus Open draws are out, have fun searching out your favs and anxiously looking for seeds/good players immediately next to them. Hello Lleyton!

The WTA have taken a leaf from the ATP and continued the war on German tennis tournaments, successfully consigning the Berlin Open to oblivion.

Bethanie Mattek wears black for her wedding. Somehow it’s not so surprising.

Fed likes Helfant, "I even had something going on with him at Nike” - that’s too much info Roger!
