Djokovic Heads for the exit

Novak DjokovicIn Brisbane Novak Djokovic used his new Head racquet for the first time for which Ernests Gulbis will be grateful. The Djoker will now head to Sydney as a wildcard and automatic top seed. Gulbis has the goods though and is one decent run short of greatness.

Also in Brisbane, Berdych won, Ferrero lost, Tsonga won, Garbin won and Azarenka beat Gajdosova.

In Auckland Dementieva won, Wozniacki won, Erakovic won, Vesnina won and Pavlyuchenkova won.

Was Indian now American again Amritraj lost to Schuettler in Chennai.

Cibulkova beat Dellacqua, Bolelli beat Simon and Cornet beat Pennetta in the Hopman hit-and-giggle. In Hong Kong Vandeweghe beat Larcher De Brito.

Jelena Dokic got the call for Fed Cup duty next month behind Stosur and the wildly erratic Dellacqua. Hope they’re not expecting Dokic to play doubles...

Pete Bodo doesn’t like the new ATP website. On ya Pete.
