In the presence of Rafa

ball girl faints
A ball girl fainted during Rafael Nadal’s match and unfortunately for her a line judge came to her rescue and not Rafa. Oh well, maybe next time.

Alona Bondarenko had a good win against the hit-and-miss Kuznetsova, Chaky next. Azarenka beat Peer, Elena the (almost) Great disappointed again, Mauresmo exceeded expectations, Djokovic won, Del Potro won and Safina won.

Both Nadal and Djokovic want changes to the ATP ranking system – over two years, no? The Djoker is just miffed that he dropped to fourth after winning a title while clay court novice Murray jumps to third.

Rolland Garros to get a (retractable) roof too?

It’s let’s dump on Serena ball girl faintstime with a bit of nice commentary on the Roadmap. It does make sense – why is Serena complaining about the $75,000 fine for not playing when she’s injured when she is allowed to do promotional work instead. Just shut up and go race your hybrid car (sponsor event) and you’re done.
